THE SHORT-TERM:
I’m not sure about the short-term trend. My guess is we shall see a new high soon but I certainly cannot exclude the possibility of a Head and Shoulders Top is in the forming, especially since SPX had been down 3 days in a row, therefore still own us a lower close. [Read the Rest]

SHORT-TERM: LOWER LOW AHEAD
Two conclusions:
- It’s rare the Friday’s low was the low although I still believe we’ll have a sizeable rebound (See 08/18 Market Outlook) no later than the next Tuesday.
