The bottom line, the short-term trend is up. I hold no position overnight.

Indeed the FOMC day is bullish. A comment at my blog (thanks, by the way) saying that the next 2 days after FOMC most likely would have at least one down day. Looks like it’s true (count yourself below since I’ve already marked all the FOMC day), so combining with the 6.5.2b Month Day Seasonality Watch, if we see an up day tomorrow then short at close, would be a much safer bet. That’s for short-term of course. On a little bit longer than short-term, I’ll say the bulls are in control, but still bears are not dead yet.
